MHSA/Prop 63 Information

Mental Health Services Act (MHSA): Many of Calaveras County’s Behavioral Health programs are funded by the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), otherwise known as Prop 63. The purpose of MHSA is to create an innovative and integrated mental health system that promotes wellness, recovery, and resiliency, while decreasing the stigma of accessing services. MHSA programs can be found within the mental health services division and throughout the community.
